Tomefold

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

In short

The developer of Tomefold (called Giorni in Italian) does not collect any data. A journal is a private thing, and the app is built to keep it that way.

What we don't do

Where your data lives

Claude cleanup (optional)

If you enter your own Anthropic API key and tap the ✦ button in the editor, the text of that entry (and the notes you wrote under “Instructions for Claude”, with the name of the journal) is sent straight from your device to Anthropic to be corrected. It does not pass through servers of ours and the developer does not receive it. The first time, we ask for your consent, which you can withdraw in the settings. How Anthropic handles data is described in its own privacy policy and in the terms of your account.

Location, photos and notifications

Face ID and Touch ID

These are handled by iOS and macOS: the app neither receives nor stores biometric data.

Purchases

The purchase of Pro is handled by Apple (App Store). We do not receive any payment details.

Export and deletion

You can export everything at any time, and delete your data by deleting entries or the app. Data in iCloud is managed from the iCloud settings of your Apple ID.

Children

The app is not directed to children and does not collect data from anyone.
